Derricka is founder and owner of Focus Within Therapy and Consulting Services, LLC. She is a Licensed Independent Social Worker. She graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Human Development and Family Studies at Bowling Green State University and obtained her Masters of Science Social Administration at Case Western Reserve University.

Derricka specialize in working with teenagers, young adults, and adults of all ages and backgrounds. She incorporate creativity, humor and compassion alongside evidenced based therapeutic modalities which include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness, to support you in creating meaningful life changes. Her approach is warm, sensitive and non-judgmental, which allows to safely explore your concerns, identify unhelpful behavioral patterns, and unpack your underlying issues.
